The Herbal Chef brings Cannabis-Infused Dining to Vancouver

Cannabis-infused dining is coming to Vancouver. Christopher Sayegh, known as The Herbal Chef, hosts this unique pop-up experience for two nights only next month. The dinner will feature a multi-course tasting menu showcasing local ingredients enhanced by THC and CBD extracts, paired with BC wine.

A Michelin-trained chef turned ambassador for the cannabis industry, Sayegh aims to destigmatize marijuana use while shining a spotlight on the origins of ingredients. He is a proponent of educating the public on the multifaceted uses of cannabis in food and for health, including its ability to enhance sensations of taste while increasing appetite. Sayegh’s pioneering work has attracted the attention of major media outlets like Vice, Forbes, The Guardian and The Washington Post. His first restaurant, Herb, will open in Los Angeles this year.

The Vancouver event will include an eight-course menu that infuses cannabis into dishes featuring freshly caught seafood, foraged produce, and ingredients sourced from local farmers and growers, complemented by pairings of B.C. wine. The dinner also feature a live musical performance created just for the evening. Sayegh is a natural host who eases guests into an entertaining evening, heightened by a calculated amount of cannabis scientifically infused to enhance the guest experience.

The Herbal Chef Vancouver will be held April 6 and 7, 2018, 7pm. $200 (includes gratuity and a gift bag), seats are limited to 60 guests per evening. To enquire, please email herbalchefvan@gmail.com.
