wings+horns satin sherpa outerwear
Back in the spring, we spotlighted Vancouver-based menswear brand wings+horns New Balance collaboration. Summer came and went in a blink of an eye, and now we’re looking upon colder weather fashion.

The wings+horns fw16 collection, In Praise of Shadows, is inspired by an appreciation for darkness. In darkness there is a sense of depth and shift in tone, placing emphasis on nuance, detail, and texture. From classic military references to modern materials and silhouettes, the collection is defined by an understated design philosophy which continues more than a decade of evolution, and articulates a distinct vision for the future.

And freshly added to the collection, wings+horns introduces the Japanese-made Satin Sherpa outerwear, highlighted by modern interpretations of timeless military silhouettes. The bomber and parka are made from nylon flight satin custom-bonded with a deep pile sherpa lining, and feature articulated sleeves, two-way RiRi zippers and an MA-1 sleeve pocket.

The wings+horns fall/winter 2016 collection is currently available in stores and online at wingsandhorns.com

wings+horns is a contemporary menswear label integrating innovative fabrics with a Japanese approach to detail. Focused on design quality and integrity, wings+horns is inspired by the Canadian landscape, and after 10 years continues to be made in Canada.
