Across Metro Vancouver, 40,000 lush pink cherry blossoms are lining our streets and filling our parks. Be sure to check out some of the free events hosted by the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) Society.

Talks and Walks
Starts mid-March, various dates
Check out the schedule of when cherry scouts are giving talks around the city. A bit of history, culture, and exercise. Triple win. Or, you can just pick an neighbourhood and plan out your own walk (Google map of cherry trees).
On the DL tip.
While most people think the cherry trees around Vancouver are all the same, they aren’t. There are lots of different cultivars. Learn more about all the different types and see if you can spot them.
