Amaro Masterclass, part of the incredible lineup at Vancouver Cocktail Week presented by @thealchemistmag. We got an intimate look into the world of amaro — from the origins of Italian bitter liqueurs to the botanical complexity that makes each one so distinct. We tasted through a carefully curated lineup, traced the history behind each pour, surrounded by genuinely curious people who love a good drink as much as they love learning about it. Equal parts classroom and cocktail hour, the best of both worlds! Thanks to @j.smolensky for hosting such a thoughtful and engaging class, and @carlino.restaurant serving up Paper Plane cocktails and snacks to set the tone for our aperitivo hour.
