Alright art lovers, there’s a rare opportunity to check out over 80 original works by Andy Warhol – apparently the largest collection of its kind to have ever come to Canada. The show “Warhol: A Different Idea of Love” combines extraordinary pieces from private owners and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. And the best part? It’s all free for you to enjoy.
The show has prints and paintings of well-known people like Edward Kennedy, John Gotti, Truman Capote, the Queen, and many more. You’ll also find some of Warhol’s private Polaroids featuring famous faces of the 20th century.
The pop-up exhibition is open for all of March at 1280 Homer Street in Yaletown, Monday to Saturday from 11am to 6pm. Photos are tagged #vanwarhol on Instagram and Twitter.
