The culinary team at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA) will ‘Let it Rip’ and channel the most delicious and dramatic moments from the hit TV show The Bear when it hosts a second edition of The Bear Dinner on Thursday, July 11.
Fans of the runaway hit show about a young chef who takes the reins of his family’s sandwich shop in Chicago and transforms it into a fine dining destination can enjoy some of the best-loved dishes featured on the show, including a take on ‘The Seven Fishes’ Christmas Dinner feast prepared by matriarch Jamie Lee Curtis in one of season two’s most beloved and anxiety-inducing episodes.
In January, The Bear cleaned up in the Comedy category at the Primetime Emmy Awards, with the show scoring the trophy for Outstanding Comedy Series, Jeremy Allen White (Chef Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto) taking home honours for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series and Ayo Edebiri (Chef Sydney Adamu) and Ebon Moss-Bacharach (Richie Jerimovich) being named Outstanding Supporting Actress and Actor in a Comedy Series, respectively.

Participants will work in pairs to recreate these culinary masterpieces, ensuring a hands-on and collaborative experience.
