Farmhouse Fest’s inaugural Wine Fair, one of the largest outdoor wine festivals of its kind in Canada, has just unveiled its exciting full line-up of 27 Canadian and international participating wineries. The event, which celebrates the making of natural, biodynamic and low-intervention wines, is curated by Bar Susu’s wine director Brittany Hoorne, and features more than 55 different varietals, as well as some new releases exclusive to Wine Fair on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
Guests will have the chance to meet producers, sip the juice, and enjoy a sun-soaked summer day amongst UBC Farm’s apple orchard.
“This event celebrates artisanal producers that believe in sustainable action and honest winemaking practices,” explains Hoorne. “Our intention is to further the exposure of these products and promote a larger conversation surrounding organic and biodynamic farming. We hope to spark interest, offer insight, and connect with like-minded individuals along with those who are simply just curious.”
Held at UBC Farm (3461 Ross Drive University Endowment Lands) on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., tickets are $70++ for half day and $125++ for a full day of tasting and can be purchased online at www.farmhousefest.com or directly via EventBrite. Each ticket includes a souvenir wine glass guests can take home.
