This weekend, we’re going offline and Into the Unknown with Chasing Sunrise and MEC Nation.
We all know how challenging it can be to go offline these days. Our days are filled with work emails, nights with YouTube, SnapChat, and probably more emails. But it’s all about balance, and making time to fully disconnect in order to get reconnected in all the right ways. After all, you were born to do more than just pay bills and die, right?
That’s the motto a team of local adventure-lovers are putting on repeat as they build a tribe of like-minded fun-seekers. For one weekend (May 14-15), Chasing Sunrise and MEC Nation are taking 50 strangers they’ve selected to go on a secret, all expenses paid trip into the wild.
Those chosen don’t know one another, and have no prior knowledge of where they’re going or what they’ll be doing. The thrill of the unknown, just outside your comfort zone, is where the awesome stuff happens. Never ones to miss out on all things fun, luckily, one of our own will be part of this weekend’s 50. There will be no live posts of the trip (the whole point of disconnecting, remember?) – but we’ll have the recap next week. Check back to read all about what’s sure to be an incredible and inspiring two days.
