Everything we ate on our first visit to @sudsoivan Everything we ate on our first visit to @sudsoivancouver, a Thai restaurant hidden inside Il Mercato shopping plaza at the corner of 1st and Commercial Drive. The underground parking has ample parking, an instant bonus point for convenience. We liked that the menu was organized by regional dishes, making it easier to order for variety to get a taste of Isaan (Northeastern), Lanna (Northern ), and Thai classics. Swipe through for everything we ordered, dish names in captions. SUD SOI 1641 Commercial Drive, Vancouver Herbal Soup with Chicken and Dill [Gaeng Om Gai] Chicken, chili paste, mushrooms, napa cabbage, squash, Thai eggplant, dill, green onions Lanna Laab [Laab Nua] Stir-fried ground pork with prik laab, makwen, vietnamese cilantro, fried garlic, green onions, crispy pork rinds, fish sauce Grilled Pork Jowl [Kor Moo Yang] Pork jowl marinated with oyster sauce, chili sauce, palm sugar, toasted rice powder Green Mango Salad [Yum Mamuang] Green mango, red onions, toasted coconut flakes, roasted peanuts, chili, palm sugar, lime juice, dried shrimp Midnight Sticky Rice and Chicken [Gai Tod Tiang Keun] Iconic Chiang Mai deep fried chicken leg, fried shallots. A fun night in Port Moody: delicious Neapolitan st A fun night in Port Moody: delicious Neapolitan style pizza at @pizzeriaspacca, an after dinner walk through beautiful Rocky Point Park, stroll over to brewery row and pick your fave patio (we went with @parksidebrewery), and capped it off with the famous @vashtiroseicecream (get the IYKYK dollop add-on for “just a taste” of that second flavour you had your eye on!)
