DESCRIPTION:Urban Ink’s TRANSFORM Festival returns\, in collaboration with The Cultch\, for its sixth year with its biggest and boldest lineup yet\, on stage from November 6-8 and 14 & 15\, 2025 at the Vancouver Playhouse. The cabaret-style festival features Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists spanning live music\, drag\, dance\, circus\, and theatre – breaking boundaries through collaboration and experimentation. Highlights include: Opening and Closing BASH! hosted by season 5 Canada’s Drag Race star and 2SLGBTQIA+ community advocate\, Jaylene Tyme; The Starwalker Experience\, a multi-disciplinary concert that blends live band\, drag performance\, and film clip integration in celebration of the music from the award-winning film Starwalker; the first live performance workshop production of Wolf Cull\, a new Indigenous one-act thriller by playwright Cheyenne Scott; a highly anticipated vocal performance by Rebecca Strong\, the first Indigenous woman to win Canada’s Got Talent; and the return of JUNO-nominated cellist and composer Cris Derksen with the world premiere concert Where The Rivers Meet. \nTickets from $19 and FREE for Indigenous patrons (use code INDIGENOUS).
