For this iteration\, join Patchbay and APT POP for a special viewing of the Harvest Moon featuring original spoken word and storytelling performances! \nWe’ll gather just outside the Elm Park Fieldhouse beginning at 7pm\, where telescopes and binoculars are available to explore the night sky (especially the Harvest Moon!). Performances of stories and poems interwoven with live ambient music begin at 7:30pm. \nAudiences are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket\, some extra layers of clothing\, and food or drinks. Curated by the gallery’s Assistant Curator\, member of the Tsiits Git’anee clan\, and passionate Haida Nation scholar Amelia Rea in her solo curatorial debut\, the exhibition examines reciprocity\, identity\, and the evolving practice of gift-giving within potlatch traditions.
