SUMMARY:Ickoholics Anonymous
DESCRIPTION:Ickoholics Anonymous is a one-woman musical comedy cabaret returning to the stage after an award-winning Australian season in 2024. SUMMARY:Love (Manipulated)
DESCRIPTION:The Baldersons\, a tough-as-nails producer and her artsy director husband known for sultry low-budget sci-fi movies\, are making the leap into romantic comedy. But during rehearsal for their autobiographical love story\, they clash over the details of an alleged affair. They begin subjecting the poor actors playing them to increasingly biased recreations of the same ridiculous breakup scene\, luring the lovestruck leads into a four-way battle for truth\, validation\, and one ultimate question: who is manipulating who? \nFrom hit writer Gordon Woolvett\, Love (Manipulated) is straight from lived experience: “It is somewhat of a true story! Years ago\, I was cast in the lead role in a film whose director and producer were going through a divorce. You can imagine what being on set was like: a tempestuous couple on the edge of disaster trying to make a movie together. It was such a nightmare that I started smoking again and was up to two packs a day by the end of the shoot. I always imagined it would make a great comedy someday. The best comedy always comes from pain”. \nStarring Kristen Seer\, Victoria Souter\, Greg Rogers\, and Sam Hall\, Love (Manipulated) is a hilarious\, and heartfelt one-of-a-kind romcom that pushes the boundaries of love and heartbreak\, with more drama than a telenovela! \nThursday Sept 10 – 8:40pm\nSaturday Sept 12 – 2:30pm\nSunday Sept 13 – 9:15pm\nThursday Sept 17 – 7:00pm\nSaturday Sept 19 – 7:20pm\nSunday Sept 20 – 2:15 pm

SUMMARY:Integration: Creating Art from Life's Chaos
DESCRIPTION:I want to wander with you through the tangled mess of life and the art it births. We get to peel back the layers of an artist’s soul\, where every scar tells a story\, and every triumph feels hard-won. \nThis show does not shy away from the real stuff. We dive into the deep end of transformation—a wild ride from a retreat in Costa Rica to the heart-wrenching reality of saying goodbye to a beloved family member and a chance encounter in the vibrant chaos of New Orleans. These aren’t just stories; they’re the lifeblood of what it means to create when life itself is pulling you apart. \nArt rarely comes from a place of ease. It’s born from sleepless nights\, raw emotions\, and the relentless drive to make something beautiful out of chaos. We’ll explore how life’s darkest moments can spark the brightest creative fires and how an artist’s journey is a testament to persistence\, patience\, and pliability. \nIf you’re an artist\, a seeker\, or someone who lives for the unfiltered truths of life\, come with me. Let’s walk this path together\, finding meaning in the madness and beauty in the struggle. This is Integration. Welcome to the journey.

SUMMARY:Portraits of Solitude
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever felt lost in a labyrinth of existential questions\, fears\, and possibilities? Have you ever questioned your place as an artist in this ever so uncertain world? Have you ever wondered if your houseplants are trying to kill you in your sleep? \nPortraits of Solitude is a one act absurdist dramedy about Amara\, a writer during COVID-19 lockdown\, attempting to finish her novel. The voices in her head and the character from her novel come alive to have a chaotic conversation discussing everything from Amara’s personal fears and existential crisis to the state of the world to what it means to be an artist in the modern world. \nWritten and directed by Sunny Mohajer and starring Alethea Sholomenko\, Tanya Jade\, Marnie Mahannah\, James Cowley\, Siobhan Connors\, and Pat Moonie\, this play will have you in stitches with its relatability\, snappy wit\, and heartfelt dialogue.

SUMMARY:The Marvelous Misadventures of Boofus and Schmoozle
DESCRIPTION:Two misfit clowns find themselves up creek without a paddle when their traveling circus leaves them behind due to a bad case of stage fright. What Boofus and Schmoozle lack in polish they make up for in resourcefulness and they quickly find themselves flying through the mayhem of an impromptu performance in a last ditch attempt to learn cooperation and earn some desperately needed coin. Props fly\, hyjinx abound and panic rises as the pantomiming pair hurtle through a series of desperate acts that grow progressively more surreal as buttons and boundaries are pushed. The Marvelous Misadventures Of Boofus and Schmoozle is a ludicrous celebration of sibling partnership that unabashedly explores the tension of conflicting needs and anxieties\, with the comfort of having someone in your corner.
