Your ticket covers all food and beverages\, allowing you to indulge in the best of Metro Vancouver’s vibrant local food scene. \nVIP EXPERIENCE: Elevate your Feast of Fields experience with our exclusive VIP package. VIP guests will enjoy one hour of early access to the entire event site starting at 12 pm\, providing a more intimate experience with all food and beverage presenters. Parking at the University-Hill Secondary School is also available on Sundays.\nABOUT UBC Farm: The UBC Farm is the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems’ main research\, teaching\, and learning space\, located on the traditional\, ancestral\, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people. \nEstablished by students in 2001\, the 24-hectare organically managed site includes crop fields\, orchards\, pasture\, Indigenous-led gardens\, and forest stands. It is a hub for agroecology research\, education\, and local food\, producing over 200 varieties of fruits\, vegetables\, and herbs\, as well as honey. \nIMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION:\nAll tickets are final sale.\nTickets will not be available at the gate.\nThis is a rain or shine event; please wear suitable footwear.\nNo animals are allowed on-site.\nAll participants 19 years and older with “adult” tickets must bring two pieces of valid ID to receive a wristband for alcoholic beverage sampling.\nThis is an all-ages event. Fierce advocates for their people’s nomadic culture that exists in the desert borderlands between Mali and Algeria\, Tinariwen’s bluesy\, guitar-driven music has found global acclaim over the past two decades for its lively blend of Tamasheq-language politicism\, syncopated rhythms and soaring melody. On Hoggar\, their tenth album\, they now stake their claim as elders of this Tuareg musical tradition\, going back to their early years of songwriting with acoustic guitars and communal singing around the desert campfire\, while also passing the torch onto a younger generation of featured musicians who can continue to keep the flame of rebellion and defiance alive. \nTypically choosing to record their albums among the arid flatness of the Central Saharan desert and tuning into the sounds of nature as they find their melodies\, recent years and the political unrest in Mali have seen the band forced to find new locations for their creativity.
