Celebrating Paul Plimley, one of Vancouver’s beloved pianists! Some of Vancouver’s finest improvising musicians will pay tribute to the joyful tornado of sound that was Paul. Featured artists and NOW colleagues on the bill include Nikita Carter and Bruce Freedman, saxophones; Clyde Reed, bass; Brian Horswill and Lisa Cay Miller, piano; and Kenton Loewen, drums, plus other special guests. Like Paul, this concert will be unpredictable, indescribable, energetic, and full of playful virtuosity.
