Soul Aboard: A Floating Festival for Ocean Protection

On Sunday, September 7, the tall ship Providence will be the stage for Soul Aboard—a floating, paddle-powered concert in support of the Ocean Legacy Foundation. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind end-of-summer festival, uniting music, sailing, and ocean conservation.
Concertgoers will be treated to the funk-jazz fusion sounds of ZADA—the Ethiopia-born, Whistler-raised songsmith who has graced stages from SXSW to the Kennedy Center—alongside opening act Tommy Van Solo. Guests can paddle up to the floating stage at Kits Point by kayak, SUP, or canoe, or settle in onshore with a blanket to enjoy the show. The concert runs from 5–7 PM; tickets are $20–$30 via Humanitix: events.humanitix.com/afloat.
