Richmond Museum presents Doors Open Richmond

The Richmond Museum presents the 19th annual Doors Open Richmond from June 6–7, 2026. Visitors can explore 45 sites highlighting the city’s diverse culture and heritage, including art studios, historic locations, farms, and faith-based organizations.
Highlights this year include going behind the scenes of the City’s geothermal energy system at the Alexandra District Energy Utility; creating your own ceramic works at the Richmond Potters Club; and exploring the four-acre historic site of London Farm, which tells the story of farming in the city from 1880–1930.
The Richmond Museum will also offer two themed bus tours: “Sacred Spaces” explores places of worship, and “Discover Doors Open” showcases three different curated partner sites each day. This year’s program includes two new videos about Mary Point, a member of the Musqueam Indian Band, and her prominent family, and the Philippine Cultural Arts Society of British Columbia.
