Mary Shelley Meets a Monster

Witty and sexy in equal measure, Mary Shelley Meets a Monster invites guests into a stormy June in 1816, when Mary Shelley and four companions decamp to a villa on Lake Geneva to invent a new genre of literature.

It begins simply enough as an evening spent rained in with some of the greatest creative minds in history, but soon becomes a story about love, sex, creation, ambition, power, and resurrecting the dead.

This 40-seat venue puts our audience right in Lord Byron’s drawing room; opulence, opium, crashing thunder, and a comedy of manners in which all participants are equally flawed and fascinating.
