This Lunar New Year, two local favourites, La Mezcaleria and Dickyʼs Dumps, are joining forces to create a unique collaborative dining experience. On Thursday, February 6, from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, the spotlight will be on a specially curated menu celebrating the vibrant flavours of Mexican and Chinese cuisines.
Chef Kevin Orozco of La Mezcaleria teamed up with Dickson Li and Pearl Lam, the creative minds behind Dickyʼs Dumps, to craft an inventive menu blending the essence of both culinary traditions. Featuring handmade dumplings from Dickyʼs Dumps paired with bold and colourful Mexican-inspired accompaniments, the menu promises a unique culinary journey that is bold, celebratory, and utterly delicious.
Menu Highlights
Black Macha Aguachile with Prawns & Scallops Dumplings: A black macha sauce paired with fried dumplings, inspired by the dramatic contrast of firecrackers lighting up the night sky.
Grilled Veggies with Vegetarian Dumplings: A Mexican-style twist featuring grilled mushrooms, eggplant, and a vibrant pickled salad.
Mexican Master Stock with Chicken & Ginger Dumplings: Steamed dumplings glazed in a rich, dark Chinese master stock, paired with ginger-infused pickles and ajillo pepper oil.
Dicksonʼs Birria Dumplings: Pork & chives dumplings served with a deeply flavourful birria broth,
pull-apart brisket, and a bright lime mignonette.
This one-night-only menu represents the best of what both brands have to offer: tradition, creativity,
and a passion for connecting people through food.
