Indian Summer Festival: PARADOX
July 4 @ 7:00 pm - July 14 @ 5:00 pm
Celebrating its 14th year, the Indian Summer Festival in Vancouver, running from July 4-14, 2024, promises an extraordinary exploration of arts and culture under this year’s evocative theme, PARADOX. This year’s programming considers spaces of diverse truths, where simple binaries fall short of understanding the world around us. This July, we’ve curated 13 joyful gatherings, spotlighting over 80 artists, and events that span music, dance, visual arts, XR adventures, cultural dialogues and artsy parties. Our distinguished curators include the host of CBC’s Reclaimed Jarrett Martineau, Juno-nominated Ruby Singh, and Queer Art Exchange Founder Nhylar. These curators have brought together a world of talent to grace Vancouver stages and parks. This year’s festival will take place on Granville Island, and at venues across the city including The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts and SFU Woodwards.
