Step into a sultry lounge to the smooth sounds of a saxophone for a Date Night with Santa at Metropolis at Metrotown. Sip on a glass of bubbly as you weave through magical displays of festive decor and enjoy an evening at the Met’s new, adult-only holiday event.
Friends and lovers (19+) are welcome to the stunning Date Night Lounge next to the Lower Level Grand Court. Taking over the all-new Holiday Lounge, the spicy evening space will offer live music (a saxophone and piano combo), a complimentary alcoholic beverage (wine, bubbles or Kir Royale) per guest, and light holiday-style canapés and sweets. Each couple or friend group will also be offered a chance to pose with the host, Santa, and select a digital photo of their choosing. Printed photo souvenir options are also available at an additional cost.
The ticketed experience costs $50 for two guests, plus tax. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
Date Night with Santa at Metropolis at Metrotown (December 6 and 13, 6-9pm) is equally suited to a romantic outing or a well-deserved girls’ night out. Be sure to book your tickets in advance for the best experience.
Seasonal offerings at Metropolis at Metrotown run from November 12 through December 30, 2024. The shopping centre is open Monday to Saturday, 10am-9pm; and Sundays, 11am-7pm. Special holiday hours apply November 29, 8am-10pm; December 22, 10am-9pm; December 24, 10am-6pm; December 26, 8am-10pm; December 31, 11am-7pm; and January 1, 11am-7pm. The centre will be closed on Christmas Day.
