Flats Fest 2024

Music, innovation and art take centre stage at Flats Fest 2024! Join us on Saturday, September 7th, from 12pm to 9pm at 565 Great Northern Way for a free-to-enter, all ages event that will feature musical performances, an immersive and inspiring innovation zone, children’s activities, an artisan market, food trucks and more.

Live music kicks off at noon with performances from local artists. Thanks to a site-wide liquor license, attendees can savour the music while sipping their favourite drinks and exploring activations throughout the day. After working up an appetite, attendees can indulge in the diverse lineup of food trucks and food vendors or grab a bite from a local cafe.

Reflecting the creative district that South Flats is, the event will feature a robust Innovation Zone filled with cutting-edge projects and virtual reality experiences from local South Flats organizations. Attendees can shop the Artisan Market featuring artwork, ceramics, candles, skincare, jewelry, and pet goods from local vendors or ponder student art for sale at the Emily Carr University Marketplace. The Kids’ Zone will feature a bouncy castle, craft stations, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, face painting and live performances from a magician, juggler and more.
