Family Saturdays: Fan Making with Serena Chu

Explore the vibrant world of fan-making with multi-disciplinary visual artist Serena Chu on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Craft your own fabric folding fan using artisanal markers and discover the fun and beauty of creating your own artistic illustrations. Drop in anytime between 11 am and 1 pm to take part! Activities and admission are FREE for youth (17 & under). Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult participation is with admission or free for Storytelling Centre members. After fan-making, you can also enjoy lunch at Chinatown BBQ or DD Mau Chinatown, where you’ll receive 10% off your meal as a Family Saturdays attendee!
Visitors will be welcome to join on any Saturday of the month, from 11 am – 1 pm, for a family-friendly drop-in activity to learn more about the vibrant cultural heritage of Vancouver’s Chinatown!
