Family Day Pop-up Event with FSGV at Vancouver Public Library (Central Branch)

FAMILY SERVICES OF GREATER VANCOUVER AND VANCOUVER PUBLIC LIBRARY COLLABORATE TO HOST FAMILY DAY POP-UP
The event takes place in the Central Library promenade (350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, B.C.) on Saturday, February 17, between 10am and 2pm.
The event features activities for families along with a range of resources supporting stronger, more resilient individuals and families.
FSGV and VPL’s Family Day pop-up event will address challenges facing families today and recommend solutions that help people build resilience. Participants can expect family-friendly activities as well as adult-oriented information, including:
Financial coaches sharing tips to improve financial stability, navigate government benefits, and overcome other barriers;
Resource workers suggesting community supports to help with a range of challenges;
Family counsellors answering questions and recommending programming and resources; and,
Fun activities for kids.
