Emotion Cartography: Mapping Our Inner & Outer Worlds

April 12 @ 1:00 pm - May 10 @ 3:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)
Free

Ready to become your own emotion scientist with community-engaged artist Allison? Join her free creative cohort exploring place-making through our senses & expressive documentation

How do we use our senses and creativity to map the way we experience the world? In Emotion Cartography, we’ll explore storytelling, movement, and mark-making to create a giant collaborative “inner world” map together!

Through guided creative exercises, we’ll move through themes like:
Roots & Familiar Places – Mapping personal history and spaces of belonging
Nature & the Body – Connecting to our environment through movement & materials
Public & Unfamiliar Spaces – Exploring how we navigate the unknown
Collective Creation – Bringing it all together into a massive shared artwork

No prior art experience is needed—just curiosity, a sense of play, and an openness to explore!

Who Is This For?
Anyone 18+ who wants to explore storytelling through creative expression
Those curious about art, embodiment, and the ways we move through the world
