An After-Hours True Crime & Forensics Experience
This summer, the Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is unlocking its doors for an exclusive event. Dark Science – Summerween Session is an after-hours interactive exploration of forensic sciences, true crime, and summertime Halloween.
With special guest, prestigious BC Coroner Laura Yazedjian who will be presenting a deep-dive exploration into the infamous Salish Sea severed feet case.
This isn’t your average event. It’s an interactive, 2.5-hour plunge into the gritty reality of modern forensics, hosted by museum staff and real experts, in the city’s most authentic, macabre setting.
Agenda:
6:00 – Doors Open
6:30 to 7:00 – Fingerprinting or Entomology
7:00 to 8:00 – Laura Yazedijan’s presentation, Q&A, and museum exploration
8:00 to 8:30 – Blood Spatter or Fingerprinting+ (for those who are a little squeamish)
8:30 to 9:00 – Presentation on the Paul’s family cold case or Presentation on BC unidentified homicide victims
