Well known for his soulful artistry and luscious tone, cellist Colin Carr has appeared throughout the world as a soloist, chamber musician, recording artists, and teacher. His impeccable skills won him numbers awards including the First Prize in the Naumburg International Cello Competition. On Sunday, May 21 at 3PM at West Vancouver United Church, Colin Carr alongside pianist Kyungwha Chu will draw audiences in with the poignant melodies of Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata in A minor and lift spirits with the soaring lyricism in Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata in G minor.
