Beyond The Pitch | Movie Screening: Diego Maradona

Join us for an evening of soccer-related movies.

As the city of Vancouver welcomes the world, Vancouver Film School is opening its doors for World Cup: Beyond the Pitch – a month-long series of screenings, talks, and interactive experiences that explore the stories, culture, creativity, and global impact of the game.

We’ll also be hosting campus tours on each screening day (see below for full event details). Whether you’re a lifelong football fan or simply looking to be part of the excitement, there’s something for everyone.

Diego Maradona: Film Screening & Discussion

Experience the story of one of football’s greatest legends. Through rare archival footage and intimate interviews, Diego Maradona chronicles the Argentine superstar’s electrifying years at Napoli, where he transformed a struggling club into champions and became a hero to millions.
