Accessible Community Forum on Accessible Healthcare in BC

Our next Accessible Community Forum will be on Accessible Healthcare in BC to discover our community’s thoughts and experiences navigating healthcare with a disability.

Although Canada offers universal healthcare, the accessibility and availability of services are not guaranteed, and people with disabilities are often the people who experience the most severe effects from a lack of accessible services.

Equal access to healthcare is a necessity. Let’s break down barriers by discussing the current challenges people with disabilities face with topics like accessibility of services, mental health, medical ableism, and government support.
